for Dolphin, Delphinus in Greek) - This concrete fountain depicts the story
behind of the Delphinus constellation in Greek mythology. The sea god,
Poseidon, wanted to marry Amphitrite. Seeking to protect her own virginity,
Amphitrite fled to the Atlas Mountains. Poseidon sent out several
servants, among them a certain Delphinus. Delphinus found Ampritrite
and persuaded her into accepting Poseidon's proposal of marriage. Out
of gratitude the god immortalized the dolphin by placing it in the heavens
as the constellation Delphinus.
